Multiple AC Waveforms
Customise your aluminium welds. Switch between Sine, Square, and Triangular waves to change the arc characteristics, bead profile, and penetration to suit
your weld.
Square Wave
This provides fast transitions which provide a responsive and dynamic arc.
The fast transitions eliminate the need for continuous HF. The focused arc provides good directional control. Square wave offers more power and penetration, giving fast puddle freezing along with deep penetration and fast travel speeds.
Triangular Wave
The triangular wave provides the required peak amperage but the waveform shape has the effect of reducing the heat input. This reduction in heat input makes it particularly suited to thin material welding. Triangle wave is ideally suited to thinner materials as it reduces the heat input especially in vertical or overhead joints and require to have the puddle freeze quickly!
It also allows for faster travel speeds.
Sine Wave
The sine wave gives the operator a softer feel arc similar to that of the older conventional power source. The arc tends to be much wider than the square wave arc. The sine wave AC waveform is like the older transformer type TIG welding machines which mimic’s the AC TIG welding performance of ‘transformer’ type machines for that similar traditional arc performance.

Auto Sleep Mode
The power source will enter standby mode after being idle for 10 minutes. This will reduce the power consumption to below 15W and reduce energy costs.
Overheat & Overcurrent Protection
The overheat warning light indicates that the machine has entered overheat protection and stops the welding output, the machine will re-activate once the unit has cooled down.
The overcurrent warning light indicates that the machine has entered over-current protection and stops the output. The machine can be reset by turning off and then back on.
HF Stabilising Technology
Provides stable HF oscillation regardless of input voltage stability.
Generator Friendly
The EVO TIG 200P AC/DC PFC inverter can be used with an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) type power generator.

Option to mix AC & DC waveforms, waveform frequency and waveform duty cycles. Experience the best of both worlds. Mixed AC/DC combines the efficiency of AC and the penetration of DC in one weld. Providing faster welding speeds, better penetration, a faster weld puddle on cold workpieces, allowing you to weld thicker materials.
Pulse TIG
Minimise the heat input without compromising on penetration. Alternating between a peak and base current reduces the amount of heat input and focuses the arc.
Intelligent Synergic Control

Smart Lift-TIG
The trigger controlled DC Lift Arc ignition allows the arc to be started easily by simply touching the tungsten to the workpiece and lifting it up to start the arc. This stops the tungsten tip sticking to the workpiece and breaking the tip from the tungsten electrode.
Advanced MMA Features
This machine features Anti-Stick technology, as well as adjustable Arc Force and Hot Start functionality. These features are designed for improving weld quality and ease of use.
Voltage Reduction Device
In MMA (Stick) mode VRD reduces the open-circuit voltage of the inverter.
When the welding machine is on, but not being used (like when you’ve just finished an electrode and need to grab a new one), the VRD kicks in and lowers the voltage to
a safer level (usually around 13V).
Active Balancing Air Passage
